||Robert Fuller (ca. 1615-1706) of Rehoboth, Massachusetts, was born at Southampton, England, and immigrated to America in 1638. He and his wife, Abigail, had a least six children, ca. 1640-1657. Descendants listed lived in Massachusetts, New York and elsewhere.
David Scott (ca. 1675-1760) and his wife, Mary, had at least two children, probably born in Ireland. He emigrated from Londonderry, Ireland, and was living at Fairfield, Connecticut, by 1712. Descendants of his son, James Scott, lived in Connecticut, New York, Ohio, Illinois, etc.
Includes other ancestors of the author's great grandparents, John Winfield Scott (1815-1863) and Sarah Fuller Scott (1814-1896), of New York; Ashtabula County, Ohio; and Baraboo, Sulk County, Wisconsin, and some of the ancestors' descendants. Ancestors include: Richard Sisson (1608-ca. 1684) of England and Portsmouth, Rhode Island -- Michael Hibner (ca. 1750-after 1810) of Germany and New York -- John Hand (1611-1660/1) of Kent County, England, and East Hampton, Long Island -- Mathew Patrick (1681-1767) of Ulster, Ireland, and Warren, Massachusetts.
